What a real Arc system looks like

This is a real 3-way active system. Every speaker gets its own amp channel and its own slice of the music, all tuned by the DSP.

The Blackbird runs the whole front stage from one compact chassis, 8 channels of amplification with DSP built in. The Nighthawk handles the bass in a matching chassis. Two small amps, a full reference system, and no trunk full of gear.

The SW10 is an ultra-shallow sub with a neodymium motor, built for trucks, under seats and tight spaces. One Nighthawk drives a pair of them with clean, full RMS power.

What a DSP is, and why it matters

A DSP (digital signal processor) is the brain of a car audio system. It takes the music, splits it up and shapes it for every speaker, so the sound fits your car instead of fighting it. Arc Audio DSP is the best in the industry: no frills or gimmicks, just what the tuner needs to make your car sound amazing the first time.

What a DSP does for your system

• Crossovers

  Sends each speaker only the notes it plays best: bass to the sub, mids to the doors, highs to the tweeters. Speakers play cleaner and last longer.

• Equalizer (EQ)

  Fixes the peaks and dips your car's glass, plastic and carpet create, so vocals and instruments sound natural.

• Time alignment

  You sit closer to one side of the car. A DSP delays the nearer speakers so the sound from every speaker reaches you at the same time.

• Centered stage

  With timing and levels set right, the music sounds like it is in front of you on the dash, not coming from your door.

• Level matching

  Balances every speaker and the sub so nothing is too loud or lost.

• Factory integration
