What each feature means

• Keyless entry

  Lock and unlock your doors and pop the trunk from the remote. Every system here does this.

• Alarm

  A siren and sensors that react to a hit, a broken window or someone trying to tow or jack up the car. A starter kill keeps the engine from starting while armed.

• Remote start

  Start the car from inside the house or office, so it is warm in winter and cool in summer when you get in. The doors stay locked and the car shuts off if someone tries to drive it without the key.

• Phone app control

  Lock, unlock, start and check your car from your phone with the DroneMobile app, from anywhere with cell service. Needs the LTE module and a DroneMobile plan.

• GPS tracking

  See where your car is on a map, get alerts for speeding or leaving an area, and track it if it is stolen. Comes with the same LTE module and plan.

• Proximity unlock

  Walk up with the R5 or T13 remote in your pocket and the doors unlock when you get within a few feet.
